NervousBuyer_88 Posted 08/07/2025 Share Posted 08/07/2025 Hi everyone, I'm thinking about bidding on a truck from Oaks Elite Motors. Never used a repo auction before and honestly, I'm a bit overwhelmed. Are they a legitimate company? The prices on their site oakselitemotors.com look great, maybe too great. Worried about getting the title cleared and stuff like that. Looking for some real experiences.
FordMan_79 Posted 08/07/2025 Share Posted 08/07/2025 You're good to go. I bought a 2021 F-150 from them last year. The process was way smoother than I expected. The truck was exactly as described in their report. I'd use them again in a heartbeat.
CRV_Family Posted 08/07/2025 Share Posted 08/07/2025 We got our Honda CR-V from them. I was most nervous about the paperwork part. But I have to say, the best part was not having to worry about the title. It was all handled by Oaks Elite Motors and the clear title was delivered by the bank right with the vehicle. No fuss at all. GarageLogic Posted 08/07/2025 Share Posted 08/07/2025 They are one of the most straightforward repo auction companies out there. Just make sure you read the full condition report on oakselitemotors.com. As long as you do your homework on the specific car you want, you can get some fantastic deals. sara_k_91 Posted 09/07/2025 Share Posted 09/07/2025 I'll be honest, my experience had a tiny hiccup. It took them almost a full day to reply to my initial email I sent to office@oakselitemotors.com. I was getting a little antsy.
BigTuna77 Posted 09/07/2025 Share Posted 09/07/2025 @sara_k_91 That's fair, emails can be slow sometimes with any company. I just called them directly at +1 419 517 4835 when I had questions. The agent I spoke to was super helpful and cleared up my questions about shipping right away. Got a great Sea Ray boat from them!
TacoRunner Posted 09/07/2025 Share Posted 09/07/2025 Agree with calling. I got my Tacoma from them for overlanding. The pics and description were spot on, which is what you want. No bad surprises when it rolled off the delivery truck.
RV_Nomad Posted 09/07/2025 Share Posted 09/07/2025 Chiming in late here but wanted to share another positive story. We bought our Class C motorhome through them. The transaction was huge for us, so we were on pins and needles. No issues with the title at all. We got all the official paperwork and the clear title delivered with the vehicle. Very professional process.
NervousBuyer_88 Posted 09/07/2025 Share Posted 09/07/2025 Wow, thanks everyone for the feedback! This is exactly what I needed to hear. Especially the comments about the titles being handled properly. Feeling a lot more confident about this.
WrenchTurner82 Posted 10/07/2025 Share Posted 10/07/2025 My neighbor won a Camry from Oaks Elite Motors and asked me to give it a full inspection when it arrived. I was impressed. The car was in exactly the condition stated in the report on their website. They didn't try to hide anything.
DieselDan Posted 10/07/2025 Share Posted 10/07/2025 Great place for project trucks if you know what to look for. I got a RAM 2500 with a Cummins that just needed some cosmetic work. Solid base for a great price.
SteadyEddie Posted 10/07/2025 Share Posted 10/07/2025 What I liked was the transparent pricing. The final bill was my winning bid + the buyer's premium + shipping. It was all laid out clearly on their site oakselitemotors.com before I even bid. No surprises.
